Diablo - a unique magnetic base antenna with MiMo and SMA connector for stationary routers A broadband magnetic base antenna with 7dBi gain that is easy to place on e.g. a windowpane. Provides good amplification on all 4G networks. This magnetic base fits all 4G networks in use today.
Both rods of the magnetic foot can be unscrewed for transport, and when in place, they have an articulated design so you can twist and bend the rod to fit where it should sit. The magnetic foot can thus sit on both vertical and horizontal surfaces.
Conditions for good reception Place the magnetic base outdoors, on a flat and magnetic surface. In many cases, the window sill is a good location. If you live in a villa with an upper floor, put it as high as you can. This creates the best conditions for the antenna to get good reception. It is also good if it is on the same side of the house that faces the base station, if you are unsure, test yourself to find the best location.
Suitable for 4G routers such as E5186, B593, DWR923 or MF28G. Not suitable for USB modems such as Huawei E3372, E3276, E398, E392, E589, ZTE MF821D and products with the same connector (TS9 or CRC9). Then see instead this magnetic base antenna with the same spec.
The antenna is 300mm long including magnetic base and weighs 230g.
Frequency range 800-950/1700-1840/2550-2650 MHz (see explanation of frequency bands below) Gain 7 dBi Impedance 50 Ohm VSWR 3.5:1 Cable RG174 5m Magnetic base 90 mm with strong magnet
Explanation of frequency bands When choosing an antenna, pay attention to which frequency bands the antenna supports. The following frequencies are currently used in mobile broadband:
450 MHZ - Net1 (CDMA450) not compatible with GSM, 3G-UMTS or 4G-LTE 800 MHz - 4G/LTE outside the big cities. Provides long range. 900 MHz - Primarily 2G/GSM but expansion is underway for 3G and 4G. Provides long range. 1800 MHz - 2G/GSM. In the future (2013-2014) expansion of 4G will come on this band 2170 MHz - 3G throughout Sweden normally up to 3 km range. 2600 MHz - 4G/LTE in Big Cities/Cities. Extremely short range. Often less than 500m.
