A good antenna with 6dBi gain that is easy to place on e.g. a windowpane. With its handy boom, this antenna is ideal, for example, to take with you in your bag on trips. Gives good amplification on 3G and 4G (all bands). Huawei E5186 and B593. We recommend this magnetic base antenna.

Tips for extra good reception, if your modem has dual antenna inputs, you can advantageously use 2 antennas to get the best possible reception. Then place the antennas about 1m apart.

Frequency bands When choosing an antenna, pay attention to which frequency bands the antenna supports. The following frequencies are used today in mobile broadband:

450 MHZ - Net1 (CDMA450) not compatible with GSM, 3G-UMTS or 4G-LTE 800 MHz - 4G/LTE outside the big cities. Provides long range. 900 MHz - Primarily 2G/GSM but expansion is underway for 3G and 4G. Provides long range. 1800 MHz - 2G/GSM. In the future (2013-2014) expansion of 4G on this band will occur 2170 MHz - 3G in all of Sweden normally up to 3 km range. 2600 MHz - 4G/LTE in Large cities /City. Extremely short range. Often less than 500m.
